Application:
The floats are used in wooden or metal constructions as displacement floats for a floating platform element, the so-called Y-boom. This then serves as a gateway or floating dock to get onto the boat or to a berth.
The pontoon design allows for quick assembly to the platform skeleton structure. The pontoons are made of polyethylene and are manufactured using rotational molding technology.
The advantages of polyethylene are its overall resistance to environmental factors, impact resistance and UV protection; the floats are also very flexible due to their low weight.
