The floats are used in wooden or metal structures as displacement floats for a floating platform element, the so-called Y-jib. This then serves as a gateway or floating dock for accessing the boat or a mooring.
The pontoon design allows for quick installation on the platform skeleton structure. The pontoons are made of polyethylene and are manufactured using rotational molding technology.
The advantages of polyethylene include overall resistance to environmental factors, impact resistance, and UV protection. The floats are also very flexible in use due to their light weight.
