Product Description
The basic function of the FLAT underground tank is to store rainwater. Its collection has become particularly important given the weather anomalies observed in recent years, with long periods of drought and sudden and intense rainfall. Using the tank during storms reduces the risk of local flooding, and the stored water can be used during droughts, for example, to irrigate crops. A measurable benefit will be a reduction in water withdrawals from the water supply network and thus a significant reduction in water bills. It is important to emphasize that the use of tanks for the storage and subsequent use of rainwater is one of the important activities leading to the improvement of water and wastewater management systems and environmental protection.

When installing a polyethylene tank, consider the following:
Dig a trench 1 m long and wide larger than the tank dimensions.
Planning larger distances between the excavation walls and the settling tank will make installation much easier.
Level and level the bottom of the excavation.
Prepare sand for backfilling the tank.
Pour a 30 cm thick layer of sand with cement onto the bottom of the excavation.
Place the settling tank in the excavation and level it along the Longitudinal axis
Cover the settling tank with a 30 cm thick layer of sand and cement to stabilize the tank.
The space between the walls of the excavation and the tank must be filled with a sand and cement mixture in a ratio of 100 kg of cement to 1 m3 of sand. The amount of cement increases proportionally to the risk of groundwater flooding the reservoir.
Fill the tank with water while backfilling the excavation (so that the water level in the tank is 10 cm above the backfill level each time).
Cover the settling tank with 30 cm thick layers, compacting the layers with water.
